In October 2024, a delegation from the Haras du Pin will again travel to Japan. Following the first training session in November 2023, Japan Horse Logging once again invited French driving instructors to share their expertise with the Japanese. However, this time, the setup was quite different, as the main goal was to train future Japanese instructors on French and European techniques and pedagogy. The future instructors were able to apply the knowledge and experience they had gained during their summer stay at Haras du Pin..
The Japanese welcome was once again incredibly warm, and the French even had the pleasure of parading behind Japanese draft horses through the grand avenues of Tokyo. Their stay coincided with a festival celebrating Japanese traditions. During this event, the city of Takizawa showcased the Chagu Chagu ceremony, in which more than 50 magnificently adorned draft horses parade from Takizawa to Moroika.
